- 1 ribeye steak (1-1.5 inches thick)
- Salt
- Butter (optional)
Instructions
1. Remove steak from fridge 30 minutes before cooking 2. Pat completely dry 3. Season generously with salt 4. Heat cast iron until smoking 5. Sear 3-4 minutes per side 6. Add butter in final minute 7. Rest 5 minutes
